Economic Empowerment Specialist | Restore NYC (2025 – Present) Leading trauma-informed job readiness training for survivors of human trafficking. Currently enrolled 60+ clients, graduating cohorts at 92% completion rates (exceeding targets), and connecting participants to employment pathways. Redesigned the organization’s 8-module curriculum in English and Spanish, and coordinate professional development with corporate partners like BlackRock.

Referral Coordinator & Economic Empowerment Advocate | Restore NYC (2024) Managed intakes and individualized service strategies for trafficking survivors, coordinating wraparound support and building resource networks with community partners.

Resettlement Caseworker | International Rescue Committee (2021 – 2023) Provided trauma-informed services to 150+ newly arrived refugees and immigrants, supporting their path to self-sufficiency. Managed public benefits applications (60+ approvals through partnership with NYC DSS), conducted intake assessments, and developed individualized self-sufficiency plans. Created training procedures that supported the supervision of 14 interns and built Standard Operating Procedures for resettlement programs. Also implemented USCIS Central American Minors (CAM) Program eligibility screening and filed 20+ Affidavit of Relationship applications.

Founder & Impact Designer | ELSI® (2015 – Present) Founded a registered LLC dedicated to expanding language access for historically excluded communities using trauma-informed practices and coaching. Currently scaling the English Language Coaching Program, which provides 1-on-1 instruction to low-income Afro-Brazilian adults. To date: 151 classes delivered, 200+ hours of instruction, and an equity-centered funding model that has enabled 90+ fully sponsored classes through the ELC Scholarship Fund. Also operated Mindfully Being (2019–2022), a holistic health coaching program with 24% average satisfaction increase.

English Teacher | English Through Conversation (2021) Provided virtual private English classes to immigrant adults using a pay-what-you-can model, fostering critical thinking and verbal fluency through discussions on culture, politics, and current events.

Online Program Director | Teens of Color Abroad (2021) Operated and facilitated TOCA’s online Arabic and Spanish language partnership with NaTakallam, connecting high school students of color with refugee language partners worldwide. Led student recruitment through outreach to profile NYC schools and virtual interviews. Managed volunteer group of program facilitators, monitored all virtual language sessions, collected feedback from students and conversation partners, tracked student progress through Global Identity Questionnaires, and facilitated orientation sessions for students and program staff.

Workshop Facilitator | AMP Global Youth (2021) Developed and facilitated a 3-part workshop series on global citizenship and wellness for 60+ high school students nationally and internationally.
